  • Jim Cottier has been in real estate since 1976, and has been the owner/broker of Century 21 Tala Real Estate since 1985. He is a Coloma native with a degree in Business Administration from Western Michigan University.
  • Jim has always been a very active participant with the local Board of REALTORS and the Multiple Listing System. He has served on the Board of Directors for 8 years, has chaired several committees and served as a member of others.
  • He has also received the highest award given by the Multiple Listing System for production: The Platinum Award. He is also a member of both the Silver & Gold Life Clubs of the MLS for his consistent levels of high sales.
  • He has also obtained the CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designation. Only 4% of REALTORS have earned the CRS designation. Jim underwent a rigorous, specialized course of detailed training, aimed at making residential transactions as smooth and worry-free as possible.
